Screen shots
Sample screenshots of Weather1 in action:
The above is a full desktop screen shot of Weather1 with the optional
Side Image window and optional wallpaper radar image. You can specify any image or animation to be displayed
in the Image Viewer. The radar/satellite image in the background is the desktop wallpaper, which you set for automatic update at any interval.
The above is a partial desktop and system tray area screen shot of Weather1. It also shows the optional
Side Image window and optional wallpaper radar image. Notice that you can have the main Weather1 window minimized yet still
have the current animated radar anywhere on your screen. You can specify any image or animation to be displayed
in the Image Viewer. The radar/satellite image in the background is the desktop wallpaper, which you set for automatic update at any interval.
Custom display template
Here is a screenshot using the "minimal template" for the main window. The templates are simply html documents. The "minimal_template.html" is
freely provided with the install of Weather1. You may copy and customize this to your own desire. To change the display template, simply
right-click on the main window and choose the option "Choose html template". This screenshot also shows the use of the "hide main menu bar" option which
is also available from that same right-click menu.
System tray screen shots
Here's a few different snapshots of the tray icon options. The standard tray
icon in Weather1 displays the current conditions, so if it's cloudy, you'll see
some clouds in the icon, etc. But, you can also have any of these optional icons
in the tray: temperature, heat index, and wind chill. :)
Notice if you put your mouse over any of the Weather1 icons, it will describe
to you what the icon means.
Here are some examples:
This top one is during the day. Notice the sun showing that the conditions are clear/sunny. Also notice
that it also shows the optional temperature icon (25 degrees) and Wind chill icon (14 degrees). All the
Weather1 tray icons are customizable. You can choose the font and background colors. :)
This bottom example is at night-time, so you'll see the moon instead of the sun. Notice that the
mouse is over the conditions, so it shows you that the conditions are foggy and the temperature is
34 degrees.
Weather1 taskbar screen shots
The Weather1® Taskbar is another one of many Weather1® options.
This taskbar acts just like your normal task bar and can be placed at the bottom
of your screen (as seen below), or placed at the top of your screen, or even
just floating anywhere on your screen. You may click the options button on the
Weather1 taskbar for more options. The taskbar pulls information from the Weather1
window, so Weather1 must be running while using the taskbar. See the partial screenshot below.
